As a lifelong resident of Sonoma Valley with a background in biology, my journey into the world of bodywork was not my original career goal.
My interests shifted during time at a physical therapy office, where my fascination with healing and wellness took root. Pursuing this passion, I obtained my massage therapy certification from The National Holistic Institute.
I started my career in luxury spas, where I gained experience in the classic massage experience. Heat therapy, Aromatherapy, scented oils/massage butters, Scalp Massage, Cupping, Deep Tissue, and Swedish modalities still influence my style today.
I soon found myself drawn to the clinical aspect of therapy, particularly in aiding the rehabilitation of physical therapy patients. Eventually interest led me to work at Cancer Support Sonoma, where I discovered the profound impact of holistic treatments on patients undergoing challenging medical journeys. Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of the body’s intricate systems, I pursued further education at The Academy of Lymphatic Studies, graduating as a certified lymphatic therapist in 2022.
This experience illuminated the vital role of the lymphatic system, often overlooked in conventional medical practices. In 2020, I proudly opened my private practice, merging my expertise in massage therapy and lymphatic treatments. It’s been a fulfilling journey, and I am deeply passionate about providing personalized care to my clients, guiding them towards optimal wellness and vitality.
